Ughh my hair?

my hair is naturally a mess.

it's a extremely curly some places and just a little curly others and really nappy on the crown but the front of my hair stays straight.

so needless to say my hair is more than difficult.

i've tried conair anti-poof

and frizz-eeze

i've tried straightening gel and leave-in coditioners

i've used a round ceramic chi brush

which all helps "straighten my hair" but it's still poffy after blow drying it.

i also have a chi straightener that i end up using after blow drying it even though i know how it's bad for my hair.

and the straightener still doesn't work as good as i'd like.

i usually go to get my hair done but when i go swimming or when it rains i have to do it myself.

can someone please please help me!?

Ughh my hair?

round brushes suck..i hate them. chi = crap. you just pay for the name.. you do use a straight pik while u blow dry correct? ok..clearly by your avatar you are not caucasian which means the ppl above are crazy talkin about herbal essense n pantene. well you can scrunch it %26amp; will look just fine but you want it straight..for ethnic hair which is stubborn you have to turn up the heat. divide ur hair into 4 sections..%26amp; take 1 inch partings %26amp; use proclaim heat protectant comb the strand %26amp; then flat iron it go over it twice if u want. if u have the heat higher the less time the heat has to be on it..%26amp; everyone thinks turning up the heat to high is such a crime. neways try to use the proclaim cholesterol..after u wash ur hair n then dry it %26amp; flat iron. %26amp; when u are finished maybe use the glossing shine (proclaim) n rub a tiny bit on ur hair.

Ughh my hair?

Blow drying may make it worse?

Ughh my hair?

idk sorry my hairs frizzy 2!!

Ughh my hair?

Why aren't you trying to get your hair to stay curly instead of forcing, and failing, to get it to go straight?

What you should do is: shampoo and condition with Herbal Essences the one for curly hair, or the moisturizing one

They also have a hair serum to make your hair nice and shiny

Scrunch your hair with curling gel or mousse, work into the curls with your fingers

It doesn't have to look perfect, just a little messy enough to look totally hot!

Ughh my hair?

so it wont get poofy while it dries, use a wide tooth comb. To straighten, use a flat iron spray and for frizzy hair use a creme (sunsilk straightening 24/7 creme)

It works for me!

Ughh my hair?

T_T i have that same problem....but i havent tryed those products yet...i think i just might try em...

Ughh my hair?

Its all about that oil sheen, I spray some on after I blow dry, before I flat iron. Not only does it work great for my frizz, but it is cheaper too, also love smooth n shine polishing serum, put some on when it is still wet.

Ughh my hair?

I have those problems too. Mainly what I do is wash my hair w/ shampoo %26amp; CONDITIONER %26amp; let it dry by itself. (if you're in a rush try washing the night before). Then i straighten it w/ a flat iron. (make sure to turn the heat up high - this is where the conditioner helps). If you don't want to straighten it try curling the flat parts - curling iron, hot rollers, or the ones you have to sleep in all work good for me. If it's a total mess try a messy bun or ponytail - it can actually look really good it you don't try too hard!

Ughh my hair?

Okay... so you make it seem like you Relax your hair, by the way you're constantly trying to keep it straight. Well, my sister got a relaxer and she has to wrap it a lot. She uses my hair conditioners and shampoo's too which range from

Panteene

Herbel Essence (Non of your Frizzeness)

Herbel Essence (The purple Curling kind)

Garnie Fructics

Those do a lot taming her hair on rainy days. she leaves it wet sometimes when she wraps it though, and when she wakes ups it's still straight so all she has to do is go over it when the Flat Iron. She uses oils such as The shine from Garnie Fructics it's in the clear pump bottle. The Hair sheen from Panteene. My leave in coconut oil conditioner, and that green bottled olive oil. They sell all of these at Wal-Mart.

I'm a naturally curly/Wavy and own an entirely different head of hair than my sister. I've never touched a Relaxer, so I have to deal with Frizz no matter what. I leave in a lot of conditioners and when I want my hair super easy to manage I shampoo it with Baking Soda (Not a lot) and I condition it with Downy fabric softener. It works Miracles, like having your baby hair all over again! Lol.

Well I hope this helps, just use light sheens that make your hair shine because heavy oild ones like grease just sit on your hair and make pieces clump so that even though it's straight it's not soft and adoring like you want. Use it if you have too though. It reduces frizz. On Rainy days it's impossible for me not to frizz so I just wear my hair curly or it will just curl up when I walk outside. Then swimming of course your entire head is wet so you'll have to repeat the straightening process. After I swim I don't brush my hair, I wash it and leave the conditioner in all night. Even though it says rinse, it doesn't harm you if you don't blow dry it or straighten in with a non leave in conditioner. The next day I rewash it but only with Conditioner, NOT shampoo. You don't want to dry out your natural oils! Lol. Then I go straighten it.
