Im black and without a perm Im black and nappy but I want to get my hair wavy like you know how when u take braids down its crinkly looking I want my hair to be like that but not as tight. I tried to wash my hair and then braid it and take it down but it doesnt work. How do I do that?

Try doing china bumps, when kept in over night, and taken out the next morning the hair is wavy, try it.

well if u still do u could use gel 2 srunch it wen ur hair is wet or u could buy a waver (im not sure wat its called but my mom has one...its lik a straightener but it makes ur hair wavy)

U can put a gentle relaxer on ur hair or use rollers and keep then in for 8 hours then dampen ur brush and gently brush it out.tht should give u a gentle wave

get a weave. If you get extensions put in, you might be able to have the wavy hair that you want.

well it depends on how your hair is naturally. if it's super straight and thick, you're gonna have a hard time getting to hold any type of curl. if it's straight and thin, dpending on the texture, it may hold...but i just say good luck with that because it's gonna be tough.

okay, if it's curly, speaking form experience, you should use hot rollers....EASY and fast!! and you get great results. curly hair is much easier to "change." so i hope that answered your question.
