How do you keep your hair down if you are a black male?

Like im a black male and when i brush my hair a little later it will get nappy again, is there a way to make it so that it stays down longer besides sport N wave?

aight this is what all my black friends do, since they like their hair short n flat, basically you take a shower and then you dry it and then u flatten it with a brush and then u put on a durag and then u keep on brushing it osciaonally. it works. lol at my house i couldnt buy a durag because im not black, so i bascilly wore a fitted around and then when i sleep i nomrlaly had my blankets making my hair flat and now its flat.

i think you could probably use a relaxer for your hair...but just to be safe i think you should just go to your local barber/salon and ask for some styling advice.

also you can use pomade, it works well for my brothers' hair although they arent black.

what you can do is use murrays hairdressing pomade its great for black men all u have to do is when you put it on brush forward adn over again when you feel you have enough pomade on it keep brushing and it should stay for you. Make sure that you wet it first before you put the pomade on it. It works better off if you wet it then the pomade. My bros use it and my boo uses it, its a great product hope this is what your looking for.
