Hair+wind= NOT good...help!?

i have naturally loose curly hair, when i straighten it it looks very nice, but i dont like the whole stick straight hair look on me (because my hair is too long), so i curl the ends up a little and style it really nice, and it looks great until i go out side, even if its not that windy it gets all tangled up and nasty and horrible looking, and i cant take a brush through it because it will frizz out as soon as i do and its to knotty to try to pick out or get out with my hands if i do that it will just loose the curl at the ends and get all nappy looking because of the hair spray i used. does anyone know of a product (preferably inexspensive but any kind of product) i could use to prevent this, its really a MAJOR pain...thank you!

well, if you plan on going outside on a windy day, like, say you are going to your car, wear a hat! Examples, a big floppy, cowboy like hat. If no hat is availible, as soon as you can fix your hair, try a smoothing serum. try smoothing/frizz reduction serums from such brands as herbal essance, dove or sunsilk, for they have proven to hold up, and then apply a straigthning cream (try straighten up 24/7 cream from sunsilk) on the part of your hair you want to keep striaght, then just lighty comb through the curls at the end!

hope i helped!

try a Flexi-hold hairspray like herbal essances or somthing like that. Also, if your going to school, or work, or to a friends, get a clip and clip it back when your outside, when you go inside let it outside. Clips let you do this without getting a crease

Biosilk is amazing stuff, you apply a tiny bit to your hair when it is dry, and it makes it shine, and will help keep it detangled!
