"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Not racist!-I use the word nappy to describe my bad hair days and hos may be rude. However, I hear and see worse in rap songs and videos. They are hypocrites if you ask me (and you did). I think Jackson and Sharpton are the real racists. Whenever a white person insults a black person - its racist. Sometimes there is more to it than that. I guess if there wasn't anymore racism, they would be out of a job.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Nice Try, But You're Not Even African American, You Made This Crap Up!!!

You're A *****, Take A Social Science Class.

You're Either African, Or You're American, Get Up Off Your Racial Complexity!!!!

First Ya Want To Be Called Colored Instead Of *****.

Next Ya Want To Be Called Black Instead Of Colored.

Next Ya Want To Be Called Afro Instead Of Black.

Next Ya Want To Be Called Afro-American Instead Of Afro.

Isn't the truth that ya just like to make sure that if you change it, you can imply the previous term is a racist remark and catch whites off guard?

Isn't this why the US has a printing press that runs 24/7/365 printing out monthly racial discrimination law suit checks to your race?

I'm not white, or a honky, or a cracka, call me what I really am, I'm caucasian.

You're a *****, educate yourself.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

The truth is it is only important to them when it happens to someone black if a black person is racist it is ok double standard unacceptable!! Report It

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Blacks are the most racist people in America. Get used to it. Report It

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Napster better watch out...that racist company

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

I agree.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

No, it's sexist.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

you're right. If rappers do it, then that means we all should, right?

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

i take it you have not endure what blacks have for generations there is always one that continue to open dead wounds and imus is the one for today and you r the other

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

yup

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Right on!

I think Jackson and Sharpton are racists! They should be put on trial for keeping the nation divided against itself and inflaming the fires of racism!

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

I think Ho attached to Nappy headed was the final straw.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

The thing is is that if the team had been a predominantly white team he would've never made those comments about them.

And in a way it can be considered racist because African Americans have kinky hair, unlike other races.

In addition, this is not the first time that this man has made derogatory comments about black athletes who are undeserving of such debased and inappropriate criticism.

He is making these comments solely based on there race and nothing else and that is what makes his comments racist.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

I would like to see the same effort against the music industry that insults blacks and women in lyrics.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

If you listen to Snoop it sounds like he is saying it is OK for gangster rappers to sell out their own race just as some Africans did over 200 years ago.

Imus was wrong and so are the rest of the punks out there using his language.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

sigh, i wish the jews, muslims and all other forms of minorties in the US got so up in arms about this crap. i dont see jewish leaders freaking out everytime somone says a rabbi joke or a muslim leader doing the same everytime they were called towelhead.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

And then there's Jesse Jackson's "Hime/Jew town." And how Al Sharpton got to be a celebrity in the first place. I know that Jackson apologized but did Al Sharpton ever apologize to the police and Whites for what he said and did? Don't think so, yet he got a radio show out of it and seems to be so much more superior to Imus that he wouldn't stay in the same room with him--just during commercials when it was convenient, not when he was interrogating Imus.

How about the Black community down at Duke University? Have they apologized to those White lacrosse players for assuming that the Black stripper's story was right every time she changed it? How about the Black students at Duke who protested? Have they apologized for what they put those guys through?

Why is it that racism from Blacks is acceptable and tolerable and even, in the case of Sharpton, rewarded, but when Whites make rude comments, far less rude--and racist--than those already stated, they are vilified like some kind of monster? Do Blacks consider this double standard hypocrisy equality?

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Debate Al Sharpton?

Would You Bore Al Sharpton A New ****** In A Debate?

I Sure missed Sharpton's view on *****'s calling them nappy headed ho's on a daily basis.

I missed him admitting that Imus was targeted because he is white.

I missed him and the black panthers at the Duke Boys exoneration news conference, yet both were there at the arrignment insinuating the disturbed accuser was raped because she was a *****?

Or was it because the accused perps weren't *****?

Would Sharpton of showed if the three accused were Chinese?

Where's Al Sharpton when the victim is a ***** and the perps are ******

Do ****** Say "Nappy Headed Ho's" Everyday? Where Does This Lingo Derive, Al?

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

seriously why was he fired for saying something as silly as that when everyday you hear rap songs critisizing other races and stuff everyday.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Sigh... i am always astounded by the media sensation it causes when some obscure white guy says something racist. I mean, this is not a news flash to me. There are racist people in the world, I go to school with them, I work with them, I see them at the supermarket the mall... And when one of those closet racist people actually comes out and says something like that everyone is just shocked. But the people that are so shocked are people that think this racist sh-t all the time so they aren't shocked that people feel this way. They are shocked that someone actually said it on Television on the air, somewhere where black people will hear and see them. The media hypocrisy is the most astounding thing to me. But you know, just another speed bump on the road of life.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

The first I heard about the Imus controversy, was when I saw Al and Jesse on CNN.

I figured "hmmm, they're on CNN, Who's the guy who said something bad about blacks this time?"

Then I found out they were going after Imus.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Imus is one to talk about somebody. He is a nappyheaded cracker.White folks started all this racist stuff anyway.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Its about time, someone agrees with me, You are exactly right if your black and make a racist comment its funny and a joke, (remember Hardaways comment on ESPN about gays, and by the way he still has his job). If your white, you are a racist. Remember the Duke students who were falsely accused, guess who led that charge, yep AL Sharpton and Jackson, but I don't hear no apologies from them. They love being martyrs. We as Americans especially the Caucasians need to stand up and not take the racism that is being brought against them.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

imus calling these women nappy headed is just his lame expression of his opinion about their hair... who cares? lots of people, not just black people, have nappy hair, myself included some days. nappies in the uk are what we americans call diapers. sounds really silly if you think of it that way.

however, calling them hos is a nasty judgment of their personal character and shouldn't have been said at all, least of all publicly.

imus was a jackass before this comment and will continue to be one after the dust settles. he has no effect on my life so i don't really care what he says. i definitely did not think anything better or worse about the rutgers women based on his comments. anyone who formed opinions about them because of what he said are just as pathetic as he is as well as the media for going on and on about it. he has no influence other than what is given to him by receiving all this attention.

feels like mel gibson all over again.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Who ya callin cracker? If I'm a cracker, are you a Sambo?

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Black persons often use such language with each other--a context where the terms are clearly not racist.

However, everyone knows--including racists like Inus--that such terms, when used by a white person toward a black person, are racist.

Inus and his racist apologists want to pretend that this isn't the case-merely to excuse their racism. But he--and the people trying to excuse his behavior--are bigots. And they can whine all they want. Their white sheets still show--as does their lack of character.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Here is what I think.

African Americans (community and rappers alike) should take better responsibility for our image. We should not portray ourselves in a negative light ever. We are strong and we are leaders. We should act as nothing but. We need to be more socially responsible for the images we portray and the messages we send to the youth and the world.

However...

Most people are not dumb. It annoys me when white people imply that it is okay to call people derogatory names based on what a rapper says. People don't seek the advisement of a rapper when they file taxes, decide to have children, buy a car, etc. Therefore it is irresponsible to choose how you will address a race of people on what a rapper says.

Rappers are wrong for portraying African Americans in the light that they do. Rappers are NOT the voice for all African Americans so people should never feel that they can identify a race by what a rapper says. African Americans are wrong for being complacent with our current image.

All African Americans are not rappers!

If a a white person insults a black person and RACE is implied in a negative light, it is RACIST as it would be the other way around.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Nappy Headed - Not Racist

Ho - Not Racist

But A ***** Will Imply It Is If A White Person Says It.

It Was Done In Humor, And It Was Funny.

Why Did They All Iron Their Hair Straight The Following Day For The News Conference? To Imply What Imus Said Was Not True When It Was.

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Puts a whole new perspective to "blond jokes" now doesn't it? Black/White racism is a political tool used to manipulate the public through the media. United we stand, divided we fall!

"NAPPY-HEADED HOS" Not RACIST?

Whites find any reason to justify their ill gotten gains, pain and murder wherever the maggots are found. They are the devil on the planet.
