OK, here's the skinny: Black women do not have "nappy" hair.

We have "natural" hair, that is natural to our race.The "nappy" word was coined by someone who's hair does NOT have the small "s" pattern. Because we do not possess oil glands, in our heads, our hair is naturally dry and over time developed an "s" pattern. This pattern tangles easier....and I think is the reason, "nappy" was coined.

White women have oil glands in their heads and emits oils ( thus their hair gets oily, shows dirty and clumps when this happens) and this can, and sometimes does cause an unpleasant odor.

So, kiddies we both have our burdens to bear and I think we need to STOP the stupid racial questions and be about learning from one another...in an effort to bring understanding and tolerance into this world.
