Okay so I use a flat iron at home to straightin my hair ya kno and umm it really doesnt work,my hair isnt like really nappy or nything just not straight nyone know why it wont work?

blow dry ur hair after getting out of the shower....yea it will be like a big fuzzball but u have to. then put it half up like w/ a clip. only let down a SMALL amount of hair at the base of ur neck. use the flat iron on high. (i recommend a CHI flat iron) then take down more and more hair after each section is COMPLETELY straight.

before u start when ur hair is wet use some straightening balm like FLAT OUT by KMS or something.

I went to beauty school and i flaten my hair all the time. After a while the straightners wear out, try going to a salon and getting a Hot Tools* Ceramic Iron. They ge real hot and last for a while. The ceramic heat is more gentle on your hair to. The only down side is that they are expensive. But totaly worth it.
